This blog goes over the main events happening in football and how they impact the fantasy world and the values of players. It gives opinions, advice, facts, and other insight on everything happening in the fantasy football world.
Slavoj Žižek is a Slovenian philosopher, currently a researcher at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Arts
He talked about how the best way to be with a partner is to not worry about personal details with each other it’s just to appreciate each other and have a nice date and the rest will work its magic.
If you meet someone online and they tell you what would have made it perfect like “losing 3-4 pounds,” you shouldn’t because then that makes you more plain and the extra 3-4 pounds is something he didn’t appreciate enough and isn’t good enough for you.
If you and. partner can get to know each other and be comfortable around one another, synthetic sex is an option as it is more relaxing and gives the opportunity to not stress about performance and gives more enjoyment in the moment.
Government law taking one’s embryos is kind of not right because that was her only chance at parenthood and I think Irena should be granted the opportunity.
The church is also pretty against it and makes it more difficult for her to go on with her dream (if only she could find her perfect guy).
The government doesn’t think it’s right because they think the law is an attempt by a patriarchal government to enforce a family structure that depends on men.
Women can raise a family without men and the government taking her embryos because she can’t find a partner is kind of messed up.
Irena grew up with her mother who was divorced and her mother thrived pretty well so that is why she disagrees so much because of the experience.
Irena eventually got to become pregnant and succeeded but the struggle was unnecessary because single mothers have always been able to thrive and she shouldn’t have been limited before.
The video from class made me feel pretty uncomfortable as the music, sounds and images were pretty disturbing and tense without context.
If I knew what was going on more with some context or background information I would’ve understood better but instead I was just not liking the video.
Some of the clips had national disasters happening, just bad accidents or dangerous activities that you didn’t know where it came from so I just wanted to know how and why.
The video was trying to give off some message but whatever the message was made me and probably everyone uncomfortable and curious to know more for sure.
The Moon Landing was allegedly on July 20th 1969, when the Apollo 11 hit ground on the moon
Many people and myself believe that they just had a fake set that looked like the moon with producers and people making the video look real
Pictures and videos both showed that the flag was waving but many don’t know how the flag would be moving or waving if there is no breeze on the moon
People also say it’s fake because of the lighting and the shadows, the fact that there are no stars, and the fact that the picture of Neil Armstrong doesn’t have a reflection of a cameraman off his helmet
People believe all this was fake as Stanley Kubrick was the man behind it all staging this as the director
Another conspiracy with this theory is that Kubrick had a real actor behind Armstrong’s suit and that Armstrong wasn’t even in the video or picture
This makes you think what else is the government hiding from you as youd didn’t know about this beforehand
Recent articles have been upset with the absurd amount of School shootings and the blame is being put on video games for sparking the interest in violence.
Many parents are now not allowing their kids to play violent video games because they don’t want the kids having violent thoughts in the future.
Other parents allow their kids to play violent games as they don’t think some games can mentally harm their children that bad to attack a school.
The new generation of kids are playing video games and getting phones at much younger ages than millennials and Gen Z.
Kids are playing games like fort nite as early as the age of 5 which is crazy.
Millennials and Gen Z kids didn’t start playing violent games until they were at least in middle school.
I like to refer to these players as the big 3 because you can’t go wrong with any of them. Travis Kelce is by far the best as he has the 2018 NFL MVP throwing to him in a pass friendly offense and there’s no reason why he wouldn’t end first. Ertz has been very consistent the past few years as him and Wentz have a great connection and he proves to be a great vertical threat in the passing game and Wentz’s favorite target. Kittle is a great option as his after the catch ability is the best in the league. He scores a good amount of touchdowns but he’ll surely lead all tight ends in yards again as Garoppolo loves him.
Kelce, Ertz, and Kittle shown respectively
Mid Tier: Evan Engram, Hunter Henry, O.J. Howard
Engram is going to get a lot more targets this year as Odell Beckham Jr. is off the team. Engram is also healthy again which should make him better anyway but he was a fantastic TE option in 2017 and he should be even better than 2017 if healthy. Hunter Henry is back after recovering from a torn ACL and he should be getting a boost in targets as Antonio Gates is no longer on the team, and deep threat Tyrell Williams is gone as well. We saw the chemistry between Rivers and Henry before the injury and the talent Henry has, he should bounce back well. Howard was good in the games he was healthy as Jameis Winston loves his tight ends. He will definitely be at the top in touchdowns for tight ends and have a nice year.
Engram’s speed in this video should be convincing enough
Leonard Fournette: Fournette had a rough season last year that was mainly plagued by injuries. He also was in an offense with no passing game as the QB position was a huge problem. The Jaguars now have Nick Foles, an upgraded line, and above average receivers to alleviate pressure from Fournette. Now that he’s fully healthy, he should bounce back this season and put up great numbers.
Kerryon Johnson : Johnson put up good numbers last year but was also a little banged up from time to time with injuries and had Theo Riddick and Legarrette Blount taking a lot of carries and targets from him. Both of those players are gone now and so is Golden Tate so Johnson will be heavily involved in the passing game now. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry last year which is fantastic so with a new offensive system and more opportunities, Johnson should have a great season
Adam Jones: Jones actually had a good year last year but he was dealing with injuries the whole season. He had 8 touchdowns through 11 games which is pretty good for a Packers RB. Most people like to stay away from RB’s from the Packers because they like to pass so much (especially from the redzone). However, Jones is also a great receiver so he meshes well with Rodgers and if healthy, should have a great season as well.
Dede Westbrook has shown great chemistry with Nick Foles throughout training camp and has looked good in the preseason games he played in.
Jaguars Offensive Coordinator John DeFilippo told the press that Westbrook “is the best route runner he’s ever been around.”
The Jaguars offense has been stalled for many years with a lack of Quarterback talent, but now they have a Super Bowl MVP throwing the ball now which will make every aspect of the offense better
In addition, Leonard Fournette is now fully healthy so if the running game is back and thriving again as the offensive line is solid, the passing game will be much easier
Westbrook is the #1 receiver on the roster and he is completely healthy so there’s nothing holding him back now as he’s primed to have a breakout season and be a reliable receiver weekly for the Jaguars
Westbrook’s electric speed, route running, and hands should give the Jaguars offense a boost they finally need in the passing game
Dede Westbrook highlights from week 3 of preseason
Jameis Winston: Winston enters a new scheme under coach Bruce Arians where he should have more success as Arians is a good play caller. He faces the 49ers week one which shouldn’t be too bad.
Sam Darnold: Darnold is a breakout candidate for this season as he is more polished and already has a season under his belt. Darnold was also just given a dynamic player in Le’veon Bell to go with Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder.
Kyler Murray: Murray was the #1 pick in the 2019 draft and has tremendous upside. Kliff Kingsbury wanted him for a reason and plans on utilizing him in every way he can. He also has weapons such as Larry Fitzgerald, David Johnson, and Christian Kirk which is pretty good.
Lamar Jackson: Jackson was a Heisman Trophy winner back in 2016 as he is the complete duel threat on the ground and in the air. His accuracy is a bit questionable but coach John Harbaugh said that he expects Jackson to break the rushing attempt record for Quarterbacks this season. Jackson provides a lot of security as he gets a lot of rushing yards and is expected to be throwing much better this season so look out for Jackson this year.
Here is all the highlights from Jackson’s rookie year
